(1/6) After everything, JC still blames WWX for everything that happened. He gets the chance to wish that WWX had never been adopted into the Jiang Sect as a child, and figures that this will stop Lotus Pier from burning down, and all of the awful crimes of the yiling patriarch from taking place. Without wwx around, his parents will be fine, his sister will be fine, and thousands of people will still be alive

(2/6) JC then wakes you to a future where everything is even worse than before. Lotus pier was still attacked and it’s leaders and disciples slaughtered because it doesn’t matter that WWX wasn’t around; the Wens would have attacked at some point anyway. Without the Yiling Patriarch, there were no hoards of corpses and the Stygian tiger seal to help win them the war. The Wens end up triumphing, and are still in control

(3/6) JC went back to Lotus Pier after the Wens attacked and his mother sent him away, but, devastated after seeing the dead bodies of his parents, and alone this time with no one to hold him back, he rushes out and is captured by the Wens. He is kept captive and tortured, his golden core melted, and this time, there is no brother to give him his. Eventually JC manages to escape (perhaps by a rescue attempt from one of the other sects) but he is left coreless

(4/6) JYL and JZX marry but without WWX around, their engagement was never canceled. Therefore they enter an arranged marriage, with JZX still bitter about marrying someone he doesn’t love. Because of this, he never really takes the time to get to know her, and frequently talks down to her or treats her dismissively. JYL may have loved him before, but with him treating her the way he is, she soon realised that he holds no love for her,

(5/6) and so she loses any affection and respect she had for him. The two stay away from each other, and do not attempt to consummate the marriage, JZX using the excuse of the war to avoid doing so. Therefore, there is no JL, and shortly after their marriage, the Wens decide to attack Lanling Jin, wanting time get rid of the next most powerful sect after them. The Jin Sect becomes the next Yunmeng Jiang, destroyed completely, and both JYL and JZX are killed

(6/6) JC wakes up to a world where his parents are still dead, his sister is still dead; but everything is so much worse. His sect is gone since he never had the chance to rebuild it, his core is gone, his nephew is gone, his brother is gone. The Wens still rule over everyone, too powerful to be defeated. JC soon realised that he never really considered how much his brother had done for them, and he is struck with horror realising that there is no way to reverse this
